At walkinhire.com, we believe that human connection is the foundation of a happy, productive, and meaningful workplace. Our story is rooted in love, curiosity, and a shared conviction that technology should serve to bring us closer—not push us further apart.
Our journey began with a simple question from our founder, Rajesh Patil, and his young daughter, Aashna, who at just 12 years old, asked:
"If school is about friends and teamwork, then why do adults work with people they've never met in person?"
Her innocence and insight sparked a profound realization in both of them: despite the increasing role of AI and remote processes, nothing replaces the warmth, trust, and understanding that come from face-to-face human interaction.
Rajesh and Aashna observed how AI was starting to replace human touch in hiring—an area where genuine relationships matter the most. They saw talented local individuals unable to find jobs because companies rely heavily on virtual screens and algorithms. They saw workplaces where colleagues rarely meet face-to-face, risking disconnected teams and unfulfilled workers.
And most of all, they felt that in this digital age, the power of a handshake, a shared smile, or a simple conversation remains irreplaceable.

A Father-Daughter Vision
Where curiosity meets purpose
We facilitate local face-to-face hiring events that bring employers and candidates together, starting from genuine human connection.
We believe in nurturing local talent, reducing unnecessary relocations, and strengthening the communities we all call home.
When people meet in person first, trust builds faster, relationships flourish, and workplaces become more engaging.
Inspired by a father's hope for his daughter's future and a young girl's desire for authenticity, we aim to make work more personal and meaningful.
Because work shapes lives. It's where we spend much of our time, build friendships, grow skills, and find purpose. Yet, increasingly, the human element is diminishing, replaced by algorithms and virtual screens.
Aashna's question reminded us that nothing beats the human touch. We want every person to experience the warmth of a real conversation, to see and be seen, to form genuine connections that foster happiness and productivity.
